概念说明CONCEPTS

范围选择工具（Range Selection Tool）是 Fairlight 页面按"区域"框选内容的编辑模式——快捷键 R，拖一个框，框住的部分全部进入选区。

  • 按区域不按片段：拖出的框可以只罩住片段中间一段，也可以横跨多条轨道、多个片段。
  • 框选即入出点：每次框选后，时间线的入点和出点自动对齐到选区边界。
  • 配合轨道与播放头：先选中轨道，与播放头相交的片段会自动进入选区，适合键盘批量操作。
  • 选区可整体加工：剪切、复制、粘贴、删除、移动、修剪，都作用于整块范围。
  • 用完切回去：处理完点工具栏图标回到焦点模式（见 焦点模式），恢复逐片段的精细操作。

操作步骤STEPS

  1. 在 Fairlight 页面按 R，或点工具栏的十字准星图标进入范围选择模式
  2. 在目标区域上拖出方框，罩住要处理的片段（可跨多轨）拖框选中的跨轨范围
  3. 看时间线标尺，确认入出点已自动对齐选区边界
  4. 按 Delete 删掉整块，或直接拖拽把选区移到新位置选区随入出点高亮显示
  5. 按 Alt-X 清除入出点，点工具栏图标切回焦点模式

练习PRACTICE

  1. 框选三条轨道上同一段空白环境声，按一次 Delete 全部删掉。
  2. 框选某片段中间约两秒的部分，把它拖到另一条轨道。

常见问题FAQ

我只想删片段中间一小段，不想切刀怎么办？

按 R 进范围选择，拖框正好罩住那一小段再按 Delete，不用先切开片段。

框选之后我的入出点怎么变了？

这是设计如此：框选范围会同步成时间线入出点。用完按 Alt-X 清除即可。

范围选择和焦点模式的选区有什么不同？

焦点模式按片段上、下半部分工，适合单段精细操作；范围选择按矩形框走，适合跨轨道的批量处理。

Concepts概念说明

The Range Selection Tool is the Fairlight page's region-based selection mode — press R, drag a box, and everything inside the box becomes the selection.

  • Regions, not clips: the box can cover just the middle of one clip, or span several clips across several tracks.
  • A selection sets In and Out: every box you drag snaps the timeline In and Out points to the selection boundaries.
  • Works with tracks and the playhead: select tracks first and clips intersecting the playhead join the selection — handy for keyboard-driven batch work.
  • The whole range is editable: cut, copy, paste, delete, move, and trim all apply to the entire selected region.
  • Switch back when done: click the toolbar icon to return to Focus Mode (see Focus Mode) for clip-by-clip detail work.

Steps操作步骤

  1. On the Fairlight page, press R or click the crosshair icon in the toolbar to enter Range mode

Practice练习

  1. Marquee the same stretch of empty ambience on three tracks and delete it all with one Delete.
  2. Select about two seconds from the middle of a clip and drag it to another track.

FAQ常见问题

I just want to delete a small piece inside a clip — do I have to blade it first?

No. Press R, drag a box over exactly that piece, and hit Delete — no need to split the clip.

Why did my In and Out points change after I made a selection?

That's by design: the marquee range becomes the timeline marks. Clear them with Alt-X when you're done.

How is this different from selecting in Focus Mode?

Focus Mode splits duties between a clip's top and bottom halves for precise single-clip work; Range mode works by rectangle, which suits batch operations across tracks.
