学完你能说清焦点模式（Focus Mode）下光标随位置变化的几种形态，不换工具就完成选择、移动和修剪。
概念说明CONCEPTS
焦点模式（Focus Mode）是 Fairlight 页面的多功能编辑模式——同一个光标移到片段不同位置就自动变成不同工具。
- 上半部是 I 形光标（I-beam）：移到片段上半部，单击定位播放头到该帧，拖拽框选一段范围。
- 下半部是手形工具（Hand）：移到片段下半部，单击选中整个片段，拖拽直接移动它。
- 边缘变修剪工具：指针靠近片段首尾边缘，光标自动变修剪形态，拖动即修剪。
- 双击选整段：I 形光标在片段上半部双击，整个片段一次选中。
- 唯一能边播边改的模式：Fairlight 三种编辑模式中，只有焦点模式允许播放中继续编辑时间线。
操作步骤STEPS
- 打开 Fairlight 页面，确认工具栏三个编辑模式图标中最右侧的焦点模式已高亮
- 指针移到片段上半部，光标变 I 形后单击，播放头落到该帧
- 保持在上半部横向拖拽，框选要处理的范围
- 指针移到片段下半部，光标变手形后拖拽，把选中内容移到新位置
- 指针靠到片段边缘，光标变修剪形态后拖动，微调片段长度
练习PRACTICE
- 不离开焦点模式，完成一次"框选一段 → 移动 → 修剪边缘"的完整操作。
- 用 I 形光标双击选中整段，再按住
Cmd加选另一轨道上的片段。
常见问题FAQ
光标一直在变，我都不知道现在是什么工具？
看光标形状认工具：I 形管定位和框选，手形管整段和移动，靠近边缘是修剪。指针上下挪一点即可切换。
和编辑页面的选择工具有什么区别？
编辑页面要手动切换选择、修剪等工具；焦点模式把多个工具合进一个光标，按指针位置自动分工。
播放的时候能修剪吗？
能。焦点模式是 Fairlight 唯一支持播放中编辑的模式，边听边修剪对白就靠它。

Focus Mode is the Fairlight page's multi-purpose edit mode — one cursor automatically becomes a different tool depending on where it sits on a clip.
- Top half is the I-beam: hover over a clip's top half — click to park the playhead on that frame, drag to select a range.
- Bottom half is the Hand: hover over the bottom half — click to select the whole clip, drag to move it.
- Edges become the trim tool: near a clip's head or tail, the cursor switches to trim shape; drag to trim.
- Double-click selects all: double-click a clip's top half with the I-beam to select the entire clip.
- The only edit-while-playing mode: of Fairlight's three edit modes, only Focus Mode lets you keep editing the timeline during playback.
Steps操作步骤
- Open the Fairlight page and confirm Focus Mode — the rightmost of the three edit-mode icons in the toolbar — is highlighted
- Hover over a clip's top half; when the I-beam appears, click to park the playhead on that frame
- Stay in the top half and drag sideways to select the range you want
- Move to the clip's bottom half; when the Hand appears, drag the selection to its new position
- Hover near a clip edge; when the trim cursor appears, drag to fine-tune the clip's length
Practice练习
- Without leaving Focus Mode, do one full "select a range → move it → trim an edge" pass.
- Double-click a clip's top half to select it whole, then
Cmd-click a clip on another track to add it.
FAQ常见问题
The cursor keeps changing — how do I know which tool I have?
Read the shape: I-beam for parking and selecting, Hand for whole clips and moving, trim shape near edges. Nudge the pointer up or down to switch.
How is this different from the edit page's Selection tool?
The edit page makes you switch tools by hand; Focus Mode merges several tools into one cursor that changes jobs based on pointer position.
Can I trim while playing?
Yes. Focus Mode is the only Fairlight mode that allows editing during playback — that's how you trim dialogue while listening.
