学完你能用入点（In Point）和出点（Out Point）在素材上精确框出要用的范围，并用 I / O 快捷键完成标记。

概念说明CONCEPTS

入点（In Point）和出点（Out Point）是给素材"划线取材"的两个标记——入点定开头、出点定结尾，只有两点之间的部分会被剪进时间线。

  • I 和 O 打头：查看器里按 I 打入点、按 O 打出点，也可点走带控制条上的 Mark In / Mark Out 按钮。
  • 先粗后精：播放中大致停住，再用 ← / → 一帧一帧修到精确位置。
  • 时长看得见：源查看器左上角的时间码实时显示入出点之间的长度。
  • 时间线也能打：在时间线上打入出点，用来圈定新片段要落下的位置和长度（见 三点编辑）。
  • 标错随时清：Alt-I 清入点、Alt-O 清出点、Alt-X 两个一起清（macOS 上是 Option 键）。

操作步骤STEPS

  1. 双击媒体池中的素材，在源查看器中打开
  2. 播放到想要的开头位置，按 I 打入点
  3. 用 ← / → 逐帧微调，把位置修准源查看器里打好的入点
  4. 继续播放到想要的结尾，按 O 打出点入出点之间的高亮范围
  5. 看左上角的时长时间码，确认选中长度符合预期

练习PRACTICE

  1. 打开任意一段采访素材，用 I / O 框出一句完整的话，把时长控制在 10 秒以内。
  2. 故意把入点标错一次，用 Alt-X 清空后重新标记。

常见问题FAQ

打入出点会把原始素材改坏吗？

不会。入出点只是标记，原始媒体文件一个字节都不动；清掉标记，素材就恢复完整。

标好的范围想留着反复用怎么办？

把它做成子片段（Subclip），之后就能像普通素材一样反复取用（做法见 子片段）。

按了 I / O 怎么没反应？

快捷键打在"当前激活的查看器"上。先点一下源查看器的画面再按键；想在时间线上标点，就先点时间线。

In and Out points are the two marks you use to "draw a line" around the usable part of a clip — the In Point sets the start, the Out Point sets the end, and only the part in between goes to the timeline.

  • I and O do the marking: press I for an In Point and O for an Out Point in the viewer, or click the Mark In / Mark Out buttons on the transport controls.
  • Coarse first, fine later: stop playback roughly where you want, then nudge one frame at a time with ← / →.
  • Duration stays visible: the timecode at the top-left of the source viewer shows the length between your In and Out points in real time.
  • Timelines take marks too: set In and Out points on the timeline to define where a new clip lands and how long it runs (see Three-Point Editing).
  • Easy to clear: Alt-I clears the In Point, Alt-O clears the Out Point, Alt-X clears both (the Option key on macOS).

  1. Open any interview clip and use I / O to mark one complete sentence, keeping it under 10 seconds.
  2. Deliberately misplace the In Point once, clear both marks with Alt-X, and mark again.

FAQ常见问题

Will marking In and Out points damage my original footage?

No. Marks are just metadata — the media file stays untouched, and clearing the marks restores the full clip.

How do I keep a marked range for repeated use?

Turn it into a Subclip so you can grab it like any regular clip (see Subclips for how).

I pressed I / O and nothing happened — why?

The shortcut goes to whichever viewer is active. Click the source viewer picture first, then press; to mark the timeline, click the timeline first.
