学完你能读懂矢量示波器(Vectorscope)的圆盘——方向即色相、距离即饱和度,会用肤色指示线(Skin Tone Indicator)检查肤色,并控制画面艳度不超标。

概念说明CONCEPTS

矢量示波器(Vectorscope)把颜色画在一个圆盘上——痕迹指向的方向是色相(Hue),离圆心的距离是饱和度(Saturation),亮度信息不在这里。三种示波器的分工见 视频示波器,这张卡只深挖它一个。

  • 方向即色相:圆盘周围标有 R、G、B、Y(黄)、C(青)、M(品红)六个方位,痕迹偏向哪个方位,画面就偏哪个色。
  • 距离即艳度:正中心 = 无彩色(黑、白、灰);越靠边缘越饱和。纯黑白画面只会在圆心留一个点。
  • 肤色指示线:圆盘左上方那条斜线标出人类肤色的大致方向——各种肤色基本落在这条线附近,检查肤色是否自然主要看它。
  • 方框即上限:六个颜色方框是饱和度的"护栏",痕迹大幅冲出方框 = 艳到可能溢出,交付严格规格时会出问题。

操作步骤STEPS

  1. Color 页面点 Scopes 按钮,下拉选择 Vectorscope
  2. 看痕迹的整体分布:无彩色画面聚在圆心,彩色画面向外伸展
  3. 有人物时,看面部对应的痕迹是否落在肤色指示线附近对照肤色指示线
  4. 肤色偏离指示线,就用色轮把色相往指示线方向轻轻"推"回来
  5. 检查痕迹最外缘是否冲出颜色方框:冲出太多就适当降低饱和度检查饱和度上限

练习PRACTICE

  1. 找一段黑白或低饱和素材,确认痕迹缩在圆心;再逐步加大饱和度,观察痕迹如何向外扩散。
  2. 找一段人像镜头,记录肤色痕迹与肤色指示线的偏离方向;用色轮修正后再对照一次。

常见问题FAQ

圆心那个亮点是什么?

画面里所有无彩色(黑、白、灰)的部分。健康画面的痕迹应该"有根"——总有一部分贴着圆心。

肤色一定要压在肤色指示线上吗?

大致落在附近即可。不同肤色在线两侧略有分布,打光也会故意带偏它(如酒吧霓虹)——线是参考,不是法律。

痕迹冲出方框会怎样?

说明饱和度过高,部分颜色可能无法被正确显示或转换。网络视频问题不大,上电视或交付严格规格时必须收回框内。

画面里明明有颜色,痕迹却很小?

可能整体饱和度低,也可能有颜色的区域只占画面很小一块。Vectorscope 按像素统计,一件红衣服的痕迹远不如一整面红墙明显。

Concepts概念说明

The Vectorscope plots color on a disk — the direction a trace points is its hue, its distance from the center is saturation, and brightness doesn't live here. For how it shares duties with the other scopes see Video Scopes; this card goes deep on this one.

  • Direction means hue: the disk is marked with R, G, B, Y (yellow), C (cyan) and M (magenta); whichever way the trace leans, that's the color the image leans toward.
  • Distance means vividness: dead center is neutral (black, white, gray); farther out means more saturated. A pure black-and-white image leaves just a dot at the center.
  • The Skin Tone Indicator: the diagonal line in the upper left marks the rough hue of human skin — all skin tones land near it, and it's your main reference for natural-looking faces.
  • Boxes mean limits: the six color boxes are saturation "guardrails" — traces punching far past them risk colors that can't survive strict delivery specs.

Steps操作步骤

  1. On the Color page, click the Scopes button and choose Vectorscope from the dropdown
  2. Look at the overall spread: a neutral image clusters at the center, a colorful one reaches outward
  3. With people in frame, check whether the face's trace lands near the Skin Tone IndicatorChecking against the Skin Tone Indicator
  4. If skin sits off the line, use the wheels to gently push the hue back toward it
  5. Check whether the trace's outer edge punches past the color boxes; if it's far out, ease the saturation downChecking the saturation limits

Practice练习

  1. Take a black-and-white or low-saturation clip and confirm the trace hugs the center; then raise saturation step by step and watch it bloom outward.
  2. Take a portrait shot, note which way the skin trace deviates from the Skin Tone Indicator, correct it with the wheels, and compare again.

FAQ常见问题

What is that bright dot at the center?

Every neutral part of the frame (black, white, gray). A healthy image should be "rooted" — some part of the trace always touches the center.

Must skin sit exactly on the Skin Tone Indicator?

Roughly nearby is fine. Different skin tones scatter slightly around the line, and lighting can deliberately pull it off (think bar neon) — the line is a reference, not a law.

What happens when the trace shoots past the boxes?

Saturation is too high and some colors may not display or convert correctly. Fine for web video; for broadcast or strict delivery specs, pull it back inside.

There's clearly color in my image, but the trace is tiny?

Either overall saturation is low, or the colored area is a small part of the frame. The Vectorscope counts pixels — a red shirt registers far less than a whole red wall.
