概念说明CONCEPTS

Matte Finesse 是限定器面板右侧的一组遮罩优化工具——初选从来不会完美，这组控制负责把"差不多"的选区打磨成专业级遮罩。

  • Clean White 补白：填掉选区内部的黑色杂点（该选没选上的洞），让白色区域变实。
  • Clean Black 扫黑：清掉选区外部的白色杂点（误选的干扰），让黑色区域变净。
  • Blur Radius 柔边：轻微模糊遮罩边缘，消掉锯齿，让调整的过渡更自然。
  • In/Out Ratio 收边：整体收缩或扩张遮罩边界，处理边缘的一圈渗漏。
  • 宁欠勿过：Clean 和 Blur 拉过头，遮罩会"渗"回未选区域，调整就漏到选区外。

操作步骤STEPS

  1. 完成限定器初选后按 Shift-H 开 Highlight，并切到黑白（Black And White）高亮模式
  2. 播放片段，盯住白色选区里闪烁的黑点黑白高亮下的选区噪点
  3. 向右拖 Clean White（可从 0.7 左右起步），直到选区内部变实Clean White 填实选区内部
  4. 拖 Clean Black 清掉选区外的白点，再用 Blur Radius 轻揉边缘
  5. 关掉 Highlight 回正常视图，调色确认边缘无渗漏、无亮边

练习PRACTICE

  1. 故意选一个带噪点的对象，分别只调 Clean White 和只调 Clean Black，观察两者的分工。
  2. 把 Clean White 拉到过大再调色，观察渗色现象，体会"宁欠勿过"。

常见问题FAQ

遮罩修到什么程度算合格？

黑白高亮下白实、黑净、边缘不闪即可。观众看的是调完色的画面，不是遮罩本身——别为看不见的噪点浪费时间。

Clean 拉满了还有噪点？

别硬拉一个参数：配合 Blur Radius 柔边、In/Out Ratio 收边。仍不行多半是素材压缩太狠，上限已定（见 素材质量对选区的影响）。

调完对象边缘有一圈亮边？

遮罩边缘溢出到选区外了。用 In/Out Ratio 把边界向内收一点，或减小 Blur Radius。

Concepts概念说明

Matte Finesse is the set of matte-polishing tools on the right of the Qualifier palette — a first pass is never perfect, and these controls turn a "close enough" selection into a professional matte.

  • Clean White fills white: fills black specks inside the selection (holes that should be selected), making white areas solid.
  • Clean Black sweeps black: removes white specks outside the selection (stray picks), making black areas clean.
  • Blur Radius softens edges: slightly blurs the matte edge, killing jaggies so the adjustment transitions naturally.
  • In/Out Ratio shrinks or grows the edge: contracts or expands the matte boundary to fix a ring of bleed.
  • Less is more: push Clean and Blur too far and the matte "bleeds" back into unselected areas, leaking the adjustment out.

Steps操作步骤

  1. After the first qualifier pass, press Shift-H for Highlight and switch to the Black And White highlight mode
  2. Play the clip and watch for flickering black specks inside the white selectionSelection noise in the black-and-white highlight
  3. Drag Clean White to the right (start around 0.7) until the inside of the selection turns solidClean White filling the selection
  4. Drag Clean Black to remove white specks outside, then soften the edge with Blur Radius
  5. Turn Highlight off, grade, and confirm no bleed or bright halo along the edge

Practice练习

  1. Deliberately select a noisy object, then adjust only Clean White and only Clean Black in turn to see how the two divide the work.
  2. Push Clean White too far and grade — watch the bleed and feel why "less is more."

FAQ常见问题

When is a matte good enough?

Solid white, clean black, no flickering edges in the black-and-white highlight. The audience sees the graded picture, not the matte — don't polish noise nobody can see.

Clean is maxed out but noise remains?

Don't force one slider: combine Blur Radius for edges and In/Out Ratio for the boundary. If it still fails, the footage is too compressed and the ceiling is set (see Source Quality Impact on Selection).

There's a bright halo around my object after grading?

The matte edge spills outside the selection. Pull the boundary in with In/Out Ratio, or back off Blur Radius.
