概念说明CONCEPTS

修剪编辑模式（Trim Edit Mode）是一种"光标落点决定功能"的专用修剪模式——同一个拖动动作，光标停在片段的不同区域，就执行完全不同的修剪。

  • 开关醒目：按 T 或点时间线工具栏的 Trim Edit Mode 按钮进入；按钮变红、箭头光标变成修剪图标，按 A 退回。
  • 上下文敏感：编辑点单侧是波纹（Ripple）、正中是滚动（Roll）、片段上半部是滑移（Slip）、片段名牌处是滑动（Slide）。
  • 查看器变预览墙：修剪时时间线查看器自动切双画面或四画面，同步显示编辑点两侧的出帧与入帧。
  • 片段不再乱跑：此模式下拖片段中部不会挪动位置，而是滑移内容——与 Selection 模式最大的行为差别。

操作步骤STEPS

  1. 点时间线工具栏的 Trim Edit Mode 按钮或按 T，按钮变红表示已激活工具栏中变红的 Trim Edit Mode 按钮
  2. 把光标依次悬停到片段中部、编辑点单侧、编辑点正中，观察图标切换光标位置不同显示不同修剪图标
  3. 在目标位置按住左右拖动，查看器自动显示多画面预览辅助对帧
  4. 参考提示框的帧数偏移（如 -01:00）到位后松手
  5. 按 A 退回 Selection 模式，回放检查结果

练习PRACTICE

  1. 按 T 进入后，把光标依次放到片段中部、左边缘、编辑点正中，说出各对应哪种修剪。
  2. 在片段中部拖动滑移约 1 秒再撤销，确认片段位置从未移动、只有内容变了。

为什么我拖片段，它在原地"换内容"？

你在修剪编辑模式下拖了片段中部，执行的是滑移。Cmd-Z / Ctrl-Z 撤销，按 A 回 Selection 模式再拖。

鼠标拖不准某一帧怎么办？

先单击选中编辑点，再用 , 和 . 逐帧微移选中的修剪——键盘比鼠标更适合对到精确一帧。

Trim Edit Mode is a dedicated trimming mode where the cursor's position decides the function — the same drag performs a completely different trim depending on where the pointer rests on the clip.

  • A loud switch: press T or click the Trim Edit Mode button in the timeline toolbar; the button turns red and the arrow becomes a trim icon — press A to go back.
  • Context-sensitive: one side of an edit point is Ripple, dead center is Roll, the upper body of a clip is Slip, and the clip's name bar is Slide.
  • The viewer becomes a preview wall: while trimming, the timeline viewer switches to a two-up or four-up display showing the outgoing and incoming frames together.
  • Clips stop jumping around: dragging the middle of a clip no longer moves it — it slips the content instead, the biggest behavioral difference from Selection mode.

  3. Hold and drag at the target spot — the viewer shows a multi-up preview to help you match frames
  4. Use the frame offset in the tooltip (e.g. -01:00) and release on the mark
  5. Press A to return to Selection mode, then play back the result

Practice练习

  1. Press T, then hover over a clip's middle, its left edge, and the center of an edit — name each trim type.
  2. Drag a clip's middle to slip it about a second, then undo and confirm the clip never moved — only its content changed.

FAQ常见问题

When do I use each of the four trims?

Ripple Ripple Trim for pacing, Roll Roll Edit to move a cut, Slip Slip Edit to change content, Slide Slide Edit to reposition — where the cursor sits is the answer.

Why did the clip "change content" in place when I dragged it?

You dragged the middle of the clip in Trim Edit Mode, which performs a slip. Undo with Cmd-Z / Ctrl-Z, press A for Selection mode, and drag again.

The mouse won't land on the exact frame — what now?

Click once to select the edit point, then nudge the selected trim one frame at a time with , and . — the keyboard beats the mouse for frame precision.
