LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  4. 在 Inspector 文本框输入标题内容,设 Size(先试 0.15 上下)

Size

Learning Objectives

After this card you can build a two-line title with Text+ nodes, control fill, outline and position, and know the right entry point for per-character animation.

Concepts

Text+ is the Fusion page's main node for creating 2D text — not just a line of type, but a complete title-design station: font, layout, fill, outline, shadow and animation all live inside one node.

  • Text is an image-generating node: Text+ produces its own picture; its output must enter the composite — usually a Merge node's green foreground input — before it shows up on the timeline.
  • Tabs organize everything: a row of tabs across the Inspector splits content entry, layout, transform and shading into separate groups, so you never scroll one endless panel.
  • Looks go far beyond flat color: the Shading tab stacks gradient fills, outlines, drop shadows and borders, each switched and colored independently.
  • Two ways to move text: the node's own Layout > Center works, but hanging a Transform node keeps the node graph readable (see Transform Node).
  • Per-character animation isn't manual keyframing: keyframe whole-parameter moves (see Keyframes & Animation); per-character entrances belong to modifiers in the Modifiers tab, which survive retyping the text.

Steps

  1. Select the Merge node your text should sit on, then click the Text+ icon on the toolbarThe Text+ icon on the toolbar
  2. Check the wiring: the new Text node is already connected to the new Merge's green foreground input
  3. Press F2 and rename the text node TitleText — build the naming habit early
  4. Type your title in the Inspector text box and set Size (start around 0.15)
  5. Switch to the Shading tab and add a gradient fill or an outlineFill and outline controls in the Shading tab
  6. With the text node selected, click the Transform icon on the toolbar and move the text with the Center Y value

Practice练习

  1. Build two lines: a large main title and a smaller subtitle, each offset vertically with its own Transform node.
  2. Give the main title a gradient fill plus an outline, and screenshot the before/after difference.

How is Text+ different from edit-page titles?

Basic edit-page titles are fast but limited in styling and animation. Text+ is the full title-design tool — fills, layout, per-character animation — and it's where motion titles are made.

I added a Text+ node but see no text — why?

Almost always a wiring problem. Text+ only generates an image; route its output through a Merge's green foreground input and on to MediaOut.

Do I keyframe each character to make text appear letter by letter?

No. Add the Follower modifier in Text+'s Modifiers tab to drive per-character animation; learn keyframe basics in Keyframes & Animation.

What Size value should I use?

It's a ratio of frame height, not pixels. 0.10.2 is the usual title range — judge it live in the viewer.
