概念说明CONCEPTS

限定器的唯一产物是一张黑白遮罩(Matte)——它不是调色工具:白色区域"等待调整",黑色区域"受到保护",只有动色轮时效果才落到画面上。

  • 遮罩是中间产物:限定器把"选中 / 未选中"翻译成一张黑白图,调色效果透过这张图施加到画面。
  • 白通过、黑挡住:遮罩的白色区域接受全部调整,黑色区域完全不受影响,灰色区域按比例受影响。
  • 先遮罩后调色:正确节奏是在 Qualifier 面板把遮罩修干净,再切回色轮面板调色——两件事分开做。
  • 遮罩可以复用:建好的遮罩作为键信号(Key Signal)能传给其他节点,同一选区不必重选(见 键信号)。

操作步骤STEPS

  1. 在新节点上打开 Qualifier 面板,用 3D Qualifier 拖选目标颜色
  2. Shift-H 开 Highlight,确认遮罩白实黑净Highlight 视图下的黑白遮罩
  3. 用 Matte Finesse 的 Clean White / Clean Black 清掉噪点(见 遮罩微调Matte Finesse 清理遮罩噪点
  4. 关掉 Highlight,切回一级校色轮(Primaries)面板
  5. 调整 Hue / Sat / Offset,效果只落在遮罩的白色区域上色轮调整只作用于选区

练习PRACTICE

  1. 用限定器选中一种颜色后故意不调任何色轮,确认画面毫无变化,体会遮罩只是中间产物。
  2. 完成选区后把 Hue 大幅拖动再调回,观察效果始终只落在遮罩范围内。

常见问题FAQ

限定器拖完画面没变,是坏了吗?

没坏,这正是本卡的核心:限定器只造遮罩。切回色轮面板做调整,遮罩的白色区域才会跟着变。

选区外的画面也被调到了?

遮罩"漏"了:黑色区域里混进了白点。开 Highlight 检查,用 Picker Subtract 或 Matte Finesse 把漏点修掉。

建好的遮罩能用到别的节点上吗?

能。遮罩以键信号的形式在节点之间传递复用,不必每次重选(见 键信号)。

The qualifier's only product is a black-and-white matte — it is not a grading tool: white areas "await adjustment," black areas "stay protected," and the effect only lands on the image once you move the color wheels.

  • The matte is an intermediate product: the qualifier translates "selected / not selected" into a black-and-white image, and grading passes through it onto the picture.
  • White passes, black blocks: white areas of the matte take the full adjustment, black areas are untouched, and gray areas are affected proportionally.
  • Matte first, grade second: the right rhythm is cleaning up the matte in the Qualifier palette, then switching back to the color wheels — two separate jobs.
  • Mattes are reusable: a finished matte travels to other nodes as a Key Signal, so the same selection never needs rebuilding (see Key Signal).

  1. On a new node, open the Qualifier palette and drag over the target color with the 3D Qualifier

  1. Select a color with the qualifier and deliberately touch no wheel — confirm nothing changes, proving the matte is only an intermediate product.
  2. After finishing a selection, drag Hue far and back, watching the effect stay strictly inside the matte.

FAQ常见问题

The picture didn't change after I used the qualifier — is it broken?

No — that's the whole point of this card: the qualifier only builds a matte. Switch back to the color wheels and grade; the matte's white areas will follow.

Areas outside my selection got affected too?

The matte is "leaking": white specks hide inside the black. Check in Highlight view and fix the leaks with Picker Subtract or Matte Finesse.

Can I reuse a matte on another node?

Yes. Mattes travel between nodes as a Key Signal, so you never need to rebuild the same selection (see Key Signal).
