Why One App: the full pipeline

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

对照剪映:剪映是拿它的特效、AI 功能和素材,去捏造一个跟现实相差较远的东西;达芬奇是 creative——用 creative 的方式呈现你的现实(represent the reality in the creative way)。

After this card you can say why the full pipeline runs inside DaVinci, and how that differs from the CapCut way of thinking.

Concepts

The full pipeline = import → edit → grade → sound. Inside DaVinci you finish it all and flow straight into grading — no switching apps. One film at a time, straight through, fast from start to finish — not the CapCut way of quickly producing something that is just okay.

Compare CapCut (剪映): it uses its effects, AI features and stock materials to fabricate something far from reality. DaVinci is creative — present your reality in a creative way (represent the reality in the creative way). Over-styling twists the subject away from itself.

Steps

  1. Import: media into the pool
  2. Edit: rough cut, fine cut
  3. No app switch — flow straight into grading
  4. Finish the sound; straight through, fast

Hands-on task

Take one clip through import → edit → grade → sound inside DaVinci, without switching to any other app.

Self-check

Work through the task, then tick every line; all checked means you own this card.

Isn't CapCut faster?

CapCut fabricates something far from reality with effects and AI; DaVinci presents your reality in a creative way. Fast does not mean over-styled.

Why run the whole pipeline in one app?

After the edit you flow straight into grading — no export/import loops; one film at a time, straight through.
